The Skatalites Play Portland, ME and NYC this February, Record New Album!

Old school ska fans in the Portland, ME and NYC metro areas will have a chance to catch The Skatalites this February, who are doing a mini-tour (what they're calling a "tour-bit") of the Northeast (see dates below).

The band, currently led by original member Lester "Ska" Sterling on alto sax (and featuring Doreen Shaffer on vocals), is recording a new album for release later in 2012 (which will, presumably, be in celebration of the 48th anniversary of the band)!
